MY STORY

An official member of the Emma Bridgewater addicts club, voice note lover and crime documentary watcher.

Snacks and M&S treats on wedding days are important to me and I have strong opinions on which crisps are good. My taste in drinks varies from the essential morning cup of Yorkshire tea to a crisp Coke Zero on a wedding day. When I'm not at weddings champagne, wine or cocktails are my drinks of choice.

I love to travel and to see new venues. Whether that be in North Yorkshire, The Cotswolds or Italy I love photographing couples stories while soaking up the atmosphere.

I have had the pleasure of capturing weddings in a variety of stately homes, on private estates. on sun soaked vineyards and even at a royal palace. I am usually a country girl but you can often find me in the city capturing chic weddings in London, Leeds and York.

HOW I WORK

I limit the number of weddings I shoot annually to ensure that all couples receive the best level of service and so I can be fully present on your day providing you with support and guidance throughout the planning process and beyond.

MY APPROACH TO CAPTURING YOUR DAY

For the majority of the day I capture candid moments in a documentary way meaning I do not intrude on the natural joy and emotions of the guests. I do chat and interact offering small group portraits when appropriate during the drinks reception offering your guests an opportunity to come away with more than a quick phone photo of themselves.

For couples portraits you can expect gentle direction to help you to achieve elegant and stylish images while taking time to be present in the moment as newlyweds.

AFTER THE WEDDING

All images are edited in my signature style and delivered to you via an online gallery for family and guests to also view, download and share. You also have access via your gallery to my professional fine art printers for when you are ready to choose prints and albums for your home.
