Intimate and chic

Andrew and Chloe proved an intimate wedding doesn't have to mean boring or naff, they choose some incredible styling and their day was epic. With changes of plans and covid postponements the couple evaluated what was really important and decided a big golf club wedding just wasn't for them. They opted for a ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall which is an incredible building full of stunning armour and grand architecture.

Chloe had Blow drys by Emma on hair and Elizabeth Amy on make up so I knew her look was going to be incredible. They really had thought of everything with Converse to change into when feet were tired and stunning In Bloom Co flowers to give that floral elegance. They kept their guest list down to around 40 and it made for a truly special, personal celebration of their love. Andrew and the groomsmen opted for black tie and when it all came together it look like something from a movie! Their little girl Nova was a complete superstar throughout the day and her Zara dress gave me huge bow and puff sleeve envy.

We walked from the civic hall to their reception at Lost & Found in the city centre to get some couples portraits as they aren't into posing. Members of the public shouting congratulations and not quite believing that this super chic couple were actually a real couple on their wedding day made it so special.

They didn't want a traditional first dance so it was more of a.... in a couple of minutes we will get up and just start dancing. Africa by Toto was the song and it had everyone singing and dancing along.

Here's to more wedding like this when the couple do it their own way!
